The process
The Big Moustache Homes logo is inspired by the iconic Portuguese mustache and aims to represent a brand of local accommodation featuring typical Portuguese houses. Following the concept of the Portuguese mustache, which was sported by numerous illustrious personalities in Portuguese history, the aim is to assign the name of a mustached figure to each of its houses. With this approach, it seeks to convey a fun concept while also being connected to Portuguese history, linking it with the country’s typical houses.
To complement this idea, various visual identity pieces were developed, ranging from business cards and flyers to illustrations of the illustrious figures representing each house. These illustrations add a touch of personality and authenticity to the concept, making each house unique and memorable for its guests. The logo, along with these visual identity pieces, reflects the brand’s commitment to providing an authentic and welcoming experience to its visitors.
